For other companies, the period varies considerably. Some companies do not give a deadline, which can lead to a challenge based on proportionality. Where a time limit is indicated, the recovery periods vary considerably from three years from the initial date of issuance of an arbitral award, to five years after an arbitral award has become unshakable or enforceable. The term clawback also refers to the fall in stock prices after the rise. Italy and the Netherlands have several recovery regimes and the United Kingdom has two recovery regimes.
